Odd holidays here. Snow still covers our street, although the melting has begun and most main streets are pretty clear. Still, it snowed a bunch more Xmas morning so we didn’t go anywhere. I went out to clear the sidewalk AGAIN and uncovered some nearby storm drains so the water could drain off the streets. Otherwise, no excitement. Well, a little: Badger the cat hurt his leg being chased off the couch, so he’s going to the vet this afternoon. He’s 16 and is pretty stiff and even though I don’t think he broke anything — he’s limping but it’s gotten better since yesterday — he still needs to be checked out. So that is my afternoon, or at least a part of it.
Supposed to be above freezing and into the 40s over the weekend, so things should be fairly back to normal soon.
