Blogging update

Filed under: Blogging update, Modern artifacts — acagle @ 1:26 pm

Probably no posting for the remainder of the week, I’ll be out in the field. . . .WAY out in the field. Well, around Enumclaw at any rate, in the vicinity of the Howard Hanson Dam which is still in this county, but is out in a fairly remote area. Long days and I don’t think the place we’re staying has WiFi, so I doubt I’ll be doing anything more than checking email in the evening at a McD’s or SBux or something. Should have a bunch of photos afterwards though, it’s in the foothills of the Cascades so a very pretty area.

In the meantime, here is a new photo of Emily Dickinson recently found. Not really “archaeology” but it is a Modern Artifact. Dunno about ED’s poetry myself. . . .as in, I’m not altogether certain that I like it. It’s. . . . .odd. Probably one in every 20 I really get (e.g., Because I could not stop for Death) and then I quite like them, but otherwise. . . .well, whatever.
