1) Andie’s blog is officially shuttered. Sad, too, because she followed a lot of Egypt-o-stuff that I don’t go into too much detail about. So, sad to see her go. OTOH, she’s more or less moving it all over to Twitter and Facebook updates so follow her there if you wish.
2) Egypt is on like donkey long! Looks to be from early October to early December. Which is a bit longer than I’d like, but, eh, it’s work. In Egypt. Doing archaeology. I swore I’d never do two months in a tent again, but here I go. Not sure how the blogging will go; there is supposedly 3G access out there (Fayum) but it may be quite spotty and slow, so there may just be the occasional or daily update, probably without photos. I’ll arrange for ye olde co-blogger to do what she can, but it might be sparse around here for that time. The ArchaeoWife might even go over at the end there for a little post-graduate vacationing, so it might be close to January before things start up again. But we’ll see how it goes. I hadn’t even started this the last time I was there (2003) so I don’t have any experience with it.
I may — stress may — try to find some way of emailing posts in, if I can figure it out, but that might require going back to the Blogger site. Stay tuned. . . . .
